Comunication with the patient
Setting up a confidential rapport is very important for patients, so they feel that they can express their problems during a friendly interview in a relaxed atmosphere.
At their first visit in the dental office patients will be asked to fill out a medical history form.
A detailed oral examination will then be conducted and usually completed by full-mouth radiographs, impressions of dental arches for the realization of stone casts, and pictures of the patients’ face and smile.
The collection of all the case history data will enable the clinician to have a thorough understanding of the patients’ conditions and needs allowing him to express a correct diagnosis and to identify the best treatment options for each specific case.
